Luckio cryptocasino has been accused of lack of transparency and “dirty play”

A cryptocasino that has already been called “a terrible idea for a multitude of reasons” is allegedly paying crypto influencers $500,000 a month to promote it. This was reported by Selvlabs founder Foobar, who stated, “Luckio is not provably honest – and it’s not provably honest at all.”
The project became the subject of active discussion in X after information about such payouts appeared. According to crypto veteran Cobie, $500 thousand is the upper limit of the offer from Luckio.
Cryptoinfluencers Ansem, FaZe Banks and Sol Jakey have apparently accepted the offer or similar terms. They claim that the project will replace traditional online casinos thanks to onchain mechanics.
However, Foobar claims that the claims of working on the blockchain are false. When checking the code, it found that it is neither immutable nor verified.
“No one knows what is even executing on blockchain,” he noted.
Foobar also called Luckio’s audit a “huge red flag”: instead of publishing the results on GitHub like “99% of all projects,” the team uses a closed email distribution.
“They send out ZIP files whose contents nobody knows. This completely devalues the audit because no one understands what exactly was audited,” Foobar explained.
Overall, he believes that Luckio “clearly plans to take your money from you in some way and is so confident in its ability to do so that it makes such generous offers to collaborators.”
Cobie also claims that Luckio is backed by the same team behind another cryptocasino, Rollbit. Foobar describes Rollbit as “a notorious platform that steals users’ money by blocking accounts and delaying payouts”.
In separate investigations, Rollbit wallets were linked to an alleged crypto pyramid scheme in Ukraine and received multi-million dollar sums from individuals involved in the scheme.
