Google has unveiled a service for AI fitting clothes directly from photos

Google has launched a new AI-powered virtual clothing fitting feature. Users in the U.S. can now upload a full-length photo of themselves to see what clothes from the Google Shopping catalog will look like. The new option is available in search, Google Shopping and Google Images results.

Virtual fitting creates a model of the user’s body, allowing you to “put on” the selected outfits. You can also save images or share them with friends. Previously, Google only offered fitting on models with different physiques.

At the same time, the company introduced improved price alerts – now you can set the desired price, color and size. Google will notify you when the product is available according to the specified parameters.

The feature launches amid the release of Doppl, a standalone AI app that can create videos of the user wearing clothes to better understand how they would look in motion.

In the fall, Google will also launch visual inspiration search for clothing and interior design. Users will be able to enter descriptions (e.g., “garden party dress”), and AI will select images from 50 billion Shopping Graph items.
